We offer many other types of fireproofing to suit every unique project.  If you have a specific fireproofing requirement, please contact us with questions or for solutions.

Cementitious fireproofing offers many significant advantages to the architect, owner, applicator and building occupant. These include: proven in-place performance, fast, efficient application, UL fire tested and factory inspected, and building Code compliant

Monokote® MK-6s is a single component, spray applied, mill-mixed fire resistive plasters. MK-6s has been approved for use on structural steel members and fluted decking to provide up to four hours of fire protection, and on flat plate cellular decking for up to three hours with Spatterkote® SK-3.

  FirepProofing

Passive Fire Protection products (commonly referred to as Fireproofing) are used to prevent or delay the failure of steel and concrete structures exposed to fire. These materials are intended to insulate the

structural members during the event of a fire,

delaying any loss of the integrity of the structural

members. There is an array of available fireproofing

technologies that can be used depending upon the

specific application.

In addition to intumescent for steel fireproofing applications.  We also use intumescent for fire proofing over our spray foam insulation.  DC 315 is an intumescent coating applied over Spray Polyurethane Foam to achieve a “15 Minute Alternative to Thermal Barrier”, and “Ignition Barrier”.  DC315 is compliant to IBC & IRC codes.

Intumescent Paint is an alternative coating that represents an aesthetic breakthrough in fire protection for exposed structural steel. It is a unique combination of intumescent fire protection and an attractive, decorative interior finish.  The intumescent paint is used in commercial buildings where architectural designs call for an extremely thin, aesthetic architectural finish with simultaneous fire protection for concrete or steel columns & beams.  Ideal Applications: HSS, columns, trusses, structural steel beams, exposed steel in atriums, and fire escape stairways.  There are also outdoor intumescent paints for any exposed structural steel.
